Amy E. Adams

Amy is an Emmy-nominated producer, Boehm Media Fellow and L.A. City College Dept. of Cinema & Television Advisory Board Member.  A creator at heart, she is passionate about all aspects of the arts, social justice and sustainability. She is focused on utilizing media to make a positive impact in the world and has sought to do so throughout her diverse career in both the for-profit and non-profit realms.

Originally from the Detroit, MI area, Amy spent her childhood in Italy, where an appreciation for cultural diversity was instilled at an early age. She has also lived and worked in Australia and the U.K., and has woven her experiences throughout her work in marketing, development, and production at the Botanic Gardens of Adelaide: South Australia, Denver Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and NGO's: Pursue Balance, Rock the Earth and The Art of Elysium. Amy has also worked on notable projects for PBS, and Larry Ellison's branding & production studio, Infidea.

She has more recently worked with the non-profit organization, GlobalGirl Media, which has allowed her to have an active role in seeing the positive impact media and film training can have on young women, especially those from under-served communities.  Amy holds degrees in Psychology and English from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
